About Brazil Pink Star Coffee
All coffee beans have a unique origin!
The Cooxupé Cooperative has been in the history of Brazilian coffee for many decades. It was founded in 1932, and in 1957 it became the Cooperative of Regional Coffee Growers of Guaxupé.
This happened at a time when it began to trade coffee on the international market. With its many years of experience in the coffee market, Cooxupé has become a national and international name. Currently, companies from more than forty countries buy Brazilian coffee from Cooxupé.

The cooperative has approximately twelve thousand members, 97% of whom are small family farmers and landowners. Coffee production is their main source of income.
They buy their coffee from growers in Sul de Minas and Cerrado in Minas Gerais and from the Rio Pardo Valley in São Paulo. Cooxupé has purchasing points in approximately 250 Brazilian cities in this region.
As one of the coffee giants in Brazil, Cooxupé also understands that it has a social responsibility towards its members, especially in the rural areas where the cooperative operates.
That is why it has developed various health and scholarship programs, as well as agricultural education. In these projects, great emphasis is placed on future generations of coffee farmers and sustainable agriculture.
One of the social projects that the cooperative has created is called Escola Consciente. In 2014, the project won the Andef award, one of the most important awards in Brazilian agriculture. Cooxupé is also taking significant steps to reduce the negative impact of coffee farming on the environment.
In 2013, it established an Environmental Education Center to raise awareness among future generations about the importance of an ecological approach to coffee production. Wastewater from the processing mills is collected by an external specialized company. This water is further treated in their wastewater treatment plant.
How to prepare OUR non-acidic coffee
Grind the coffee to a coarseness that suits the selected coffee preparation. We deliver coffee beans (unground). If you would like to have the coffee ground, write in the note what coarseness you want:
Very finely ground - čezva, Czech Turk
Fine - espresso
Medium - moka pot
Coarse - drippers and filters
Very coarse - french press
How we roast coffee
Roasting beans either become just another coffee among many, or they turn into a unique taste experience.
Every day we roast exactly as much as you order. So that you always get fresh beans - only then will you fully enjoy their unique character. We respect this and do not try to change it. On the contrary. We simply roast them in such a way that we let the natural taste of each coffee develop and get the most out of it.
We adjust the temperature and time depending on what we have in the roaster. We pay attention to every detail all the time, because that's what separates great coffee from ordinary coffee.

How to store coffee
Always unpack your coffee just before preparing it. Even then, you don't need to pour it into anything. Simply close the bag again with a zipper. The three-layer packaging protects the coffee from air, while the one-way valve allows naturally occurring carbon dioxide to escape. This allows the beans to breathe, but they don't air out.
Put the package somewhere with a constant temperature and dryness - which is definitely not a refrigerator or freezer. The coffee would unnecessarily absorb moisture and ambient odors. Not even our special bags would help here.
