Colombian coffee is one of the pure varietal coffees sold under this label worldwide.
Coffee is grown on the slopes of the Andes Mountains in three zones. Due to the differences in climate, coffee can be harvested almost all year round, as the coffee tree's fruits ripen at different times.
Colombian coffee has one of the strongest aromas. The beans are fine and smooth, the drink is fruity with a very rich, creamy taste and a decent acidity. The most famous ones available are Excelso or Supremo.
How to prepare Colombia La Florida Excelso coffee?
Grind the coffee to a coarseness that suits the selected coffee preparation. We deliver coffee beans (unground). If you would like to have the coffee ground, write in the note what coarseness you want:
Very fine ground - čezva, české turk
Fine - espresso
Medium - moka pot
Coarse - drippers and filters
Very coarse - french press
How we roast coffee
Roasting beans either become just another coffee among many, or they turn into a unique taste experience.
Every day we roast exactly as much as you order. So that you always get fresh beans in your hands - only then will you fully enjoy their unique character. We respect this and do not try to change it. On the contrary. We simply roast them in such a way that we let the natural taste of each coffee develop and get the most out of it.
We adjust the temperature and time depending on what we have in the roaster. We pay attention to every detail all the time, because that's what separates great coffee from ordinary coffee.

How to store coffee
Always unpack your coffee just before preparing it. Even then, you don't need to pour it into anything. Simply close the bag again with a zipper. The three-layer packaging protects the coffee from air, while the one-way valve allows naturally occurring carbon dioxide to escape. This allows the beans to breathe, but they don't air out.
Put the package somewhere with a constant temperature and dryness - which is definitely not a refrigerator or freezer. The coffee would unnecessarily absorb moisture and ambient odors. Not even our special bags would help here.
