Product detailed description
Cod liver oil is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, of which DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) contributes to maintaining normal brain function. A beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA. DHA together with EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) contribute to normal heart function. A beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA and EPA.
Cod liver oil is a raw material obtained from fish that live in the cleanest waters of the North Atlantic Ocean.
In children, it contributes to the development of the brain, retina and helps with the development of cognitive functions. It is said that "fish oil is eaten so that the child is more intelligent and the senior remains young". It also strengthens the chewing apparatus and, thanks to its calcium content, also forms healthy bones correctly. Overall, it supports the harmonious development of the entire human body.
Thanks to research in a group of adults, it was found that a sufficient amount of vitamin D ensures normal metabolism in adults, even if the calcium intake is less than 800 mg/day. However, most people consume more than 1200 mg/day and without vitamin D intake, the normal level of calcium needed for healthy bones is not achieved. This is another reason why cod liver oil is ideal. It contains enough vitamin D and has beneficial effects for the prevention of osteoporosis.
Cod liver oil is a good source of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid). As has been shown, they play an important role in the prevention of heart disease and arrhythmia, improve blood circulation, normalize triglyceride levels, treat high blood pressure and lower cholesterol.
Other positive effects of cod liver oil include anti-inflammatory effects, alleviation of morning stiffness and joint pain. It nourishes the brain, which helps maintain overall well-being. According to scientists, it can also help in the treatment of depression.
Omega-3 fatty acids are important for people of all ages, but especially for children and the elderly.
