Puhdistamo Tripple Selenium is a unique supplement containing three forms of selenium – selenomethionine (a compound of selenium and methionine, a naturally occurring amino acid), sodium selenite (an inorganic compound of sodium and selenium) and selenium yeast (yeast (Saccharomyces) grown on a medium enriched with selenium, the yeast naturally converts this selenium into selenomethionine). Vitamin E is contained in the form of D-alpha-tocopherol acetate and tocotrienol complex (vitamin E is not a single substance, but a collective term for a complex of several substances designated as tocopherols).
Selenium and vitamin E have synergistic properties related to the following areas: oxidative stress, hair, nails, skin.
